A great winter wallpaper from the Slovenian Alps.
This week we share with you a wallpaper from the Slovenian Alps. It is a snapshot from one of our ski touring adventures. On that particular adventure we climbed one of the Slovenian peaks on Karavanke mountain range which offers great views of the Julian alps on the other side of the valley around Jesenice.
The mountains on the image are Škrlatica and Špik - first neighbours to the Triglav peak. It is almost a regular scenery in Julian Alps: thick forest covering the base of the mountains, gradually making way for sharp rock cliffs rising to the peaks. This is our weeky wallpaper inspired by the slovenian winter scene.
