On this trip, we are based in small, family-operated private apartments on island Molat. We venture out from 3 different harbors to explore the picturesque coastline, but also go up the hills, down the countryside roads, and under the sea on this multisport itinerary. Ideal for family and beginner adventurers. Consider pairing this trip with a kayaking or SUP touring course.

Kayaking takes you to hidden beaches and coves, but there are also picturesque, ridge-riding countryside roads perfect for cycling. Trails leading to hilltop chappels ideal for hiking. Secluded bays and coves perfect for taking your first SUP touring course trip.

Our base for the trip is village Molat and our paddling routes include islands Ist, Dugi Otok and Zverinac.

We meet at Molat dock as you get off your catamaran/ferry from Zadar. After your check-in we go for a 15-minute hike up to Straža (great views of the surrounding area) and a welcome drink
Highlights: Straža’s stone age settlement ruins.
Activity: 20-minute hike

DAY 2 – kayak Bonastar
After breakfast, we personalize your gear and do an introduction course to sea safety and paddling We paddle out to a small natural cave and then head out to Bonaster peninsula. There we explore military tunnels from Cold War period. We paddle out to uninhabited island Brščak for a lunch break. Expect plenty of snorkeling and then a paddle back.

DAY 3 – cycle + kayak + hike
After breakfast, we hop on the bikes and cycle through little villages on a country road. In Zapuntel we hop into kayaks and hop over to island Ist. There we jump into hiking shoes for a hike to Snow Lady chapel with stunning views of the islands. On the pebblestone beach, we have a game of picigin. We return back to Molat for dinner.

Activity: 6km kayaking (1,5h), 18km cycling, 1,5h hiking


DAY 4 
After breakfast, we walk down to turquoise Jazi bay for an introduction to SUP touring. We explore small coves, former fishing harbor or paddle out to uninhabited Tovarjak (donkey) island. We paddle downwind in the afternoon back to Jazi.

Activity: 2k – 8k SUP touring (2h-3h)


DAY 5 – kayak to submarine tunnels
We paddle to Dugi Otok and paddle into Cold Warm submarine caves. We the continue to island Zverinac for a walk in the village. After lunch and a swim we head back to Molat.

DAY 6 – sup or kayak
On our last day we paddle the southern coast of Molat known for its shallow turquoise water, stunning views of the Velebit mountain range, small beaches, and coves.

Activity: 8km kayaking (3h)


We catch a morning catamaran to Zadar departing at 6.50h(**). Breakfast is packed to go to allow for maximum sleeping time.
