This trip is ideal for both beginner and advanced SUP paddlers looking to see Croatia off the beaten path and in one of the densest archipelagos in Mediterranean.

We use expedition type SUPs to explore villages off the beaten path.We sleep in premium family owned b'n'b, relax on tranquil secluded beaches; eat in local restaurants or family cooperatives (otherwise not open to public). ITINERARY

DAY 1, ARRIVAL
Once you arrive, we walk to your accomodation and check in. In the afternoon we do short walk do nearby peak to show you some less known spots in the town.
Highlights: great views of the archipelago.
Activity: 1h walk

DAY 2: Brgulje bay
Relaxed day today. After breakfast we get on our SUPs for a relaxed paddling session in secluded Brgulje bay. We circumnavigate Brgulje's little island (known for rabbits living there). We have a short walk and swim in Brgulje. We head back to Molat where late lunch is served in one of the family restaurants.

Highlights: pebblestone beach on Tovarjak island, snorkeling spot with underwater caves (8m deep)
Activity: 8km paddling (3h)

DAY 3: Island Ist.
After breakfast, we get on the bicycles. We cycle on a small island road to village Zapuntel. There we get on SUPs and all our gear is transfered by car. Our 3k paddling route goes through a narrow strait between Ist and Molat and finishes in sandy bay of town Ist. We hike up to Snow Queen Chappel on the 175m high hill for great views of the archipelago. We return to Ist, have a light lunch and cup of coffe at the beach bar. We paddle and cycle back to Molat. We have a dinner prepared by one of the local families (their daily catch or locally caught calamari).

Activity: 18km cycling (1.5h), 6km paddling (1.5h), hiking (1h)

DAY 4: Submarine caves.
Today is our longest paddling day. After breakfast we head towards Bonastar bay where we explore Cold War era military caving system. From there we continue along Brščak and cliffs of Golac to Dugi Otok. We make a break in the submarine caves. We continue to Zverinac and have a dinner there. We either paddle back or take a car ferry back to Molat.

Activity: 12 - 20km paddling (5h)

DAY 5: Jazi Bay.
After brekfast we do a shorter paddling exploration in wind protected Jazi bay with an extension to and island Tovarjak. Optional detour to one of the smaller caves in nearby coves.

Highlights: tranquil waters and little village Brgulje
Activity: 10km paddling (2h)

DAY 6: Sabuša sandy beach.
Today we explore shallow waters in south part of Molat. We head out from Jazi harbour to sandy beach Sabuša where we have a picnic lunch stop. We continue along the narrow strait, couple other coves and finish in Molat's main port.

Highlights: Sabuša sandy beach, Molat's south coast with shallow tourquis waters
Activity: 10km paddling (4h)

DAY 7:
You catch early morning catamaran departing Molat at 6.50h. Your breakfast is packed to go to allow for maximum sleeping time 🙂
